Try Rugby
Players. Coaches. Volunteers. Sponsors.
Let us know if you’re interested and we’ll contact you.
Or just turn up and play - see times and venues below
If you come down to the club during any one of the training or playing sessions, one of our administration or coaching staff will be pleased to welcome you. If you have never played rugby before, take advantage of our Try Rugby - two free taster sessions - to see if you enjoy it. Once you (or your child) have decided, there will be some registration forms to complete and RFU registration for insurance purposes which our Team Managers can help you complete.

Coaches, Volunteers, Sponsors
-
Coaches & Referees
If you’re interested in becoming a coach or referee for whichever age group, we offer individuals the chance to learn about the specifics of rugby through RFU courses, first aid courses, referee courses.
For the younger age groups, you don’t have to have played rugby yourself but must be able to offer bags of encouragement. (DBS checks will be done as per the relevant government advice.)
-
Volunteers
Successful clubs are more than just victorious teams on the pitch, they rely heavily on volunteeres to who work hard behind the scenes.
From parents who can spare a couple of hours every few weeks working in the cafe to young volunteers who are participating in Duke of Edinburgh awards, there are always things to do.
You don’t need any rugby or sporting experience, just enthusiasm!
-
Sponsors
We are proud of our sponsors who support our local and thriving club.
If you are interested in sponsoring the club or a team within the club, we would be interested in talking to you. We can provide exposure to our active websites, team shirts and club commuications.
